Game Of The Year 2016

It’s been a wonderful year for video games and Pause Resume itself.

We launched in April and as a tester we recorded a Game Of The Year podcast at the back end of 2015, a podcast that saw Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain win our Game Of The Year before the site was even born.

Fast forward to now, and we’ve got our ever-growing team together to sort out this years ten best games of the year. While Alex, Craig, Joe and Alexandra took part in the podcast, they took in the views of all of Pause Resume’s contributors in order to create Pause Resume’s top ten games of 2016.

At times it was hotly debated, as personal favourites were thrust into the list, while others that we collectively loved fell by the way side, but in the end a list was made and a winner was crowned.

Will it be to everyone’s tastes? No, of course not. But it’s now etched into history.

To spoil yourself, the full list is at the bottom of this page with the winner receiving a nice little video, which is also down the bottom of this page …

Find out our final list in the podcast below and to be kept up-to-date with our regular Pause Resume Show, make sure to subscribe to us on iTunes.
